Climate
Cyprus boasts more than 300 days of sunshine per year, making it one of the sunniest countries in Europe. During the winter months, daytime temperatures range from 16 to 18 °C, while in the interior it is 13 °C. At night, it cools down to 10 °C along the coast and to 3 °C inland. In the spring and autumn months, temperatures are very pleasant, ranging from 21 to 23 °C during the day and between 11 and 13 °C at night, while in the mountainous areas the temperatures are slightly lower.
During the summer months, the average maximum temperature is up to 30 °C on the west coast and 32–33 °C on the east-south coast. It is hotter and drier inside, with temperatures reaching 37 °C.
